Samhain Evening at Brigit's Garden
Friday 30th October at 7.30pm
You are warmly invited to join us at Brigit’s Garden for a special gathering to mark the old Celtic festival of Samhain – a candlelit evening, mainly indoors with time around a fire outdoors if the weather is kind.
We will share stories and songs of Samhain and relax with a meditation; we will reflect on what we need to let go of and what we wish to call in over the winter season; we will honour our ancestors and those that have passed and drum around the fire.
After the main session there will be a cuppa and an informal gathering around the fire to share songs, poems and stories (please bring something if you wish!).
The evening is brought to you by Jenny Beale, Caroline McFadden and Jacinta Corbett.
All are most welcome! (Please note this is not intended for children except for interested teens).
Advance booking is required and all proceeds go to Brigit’s Garden. Members may ring the office for the 10% discount code.
Contribution: standard €15, supporting €20, concession €10.
- If you are a member availing of a discount please bring your membership card with you.
- Complimentary admission passes are not valid for special events.
- Tickets are non-refundable except where the event is cancelled. If it is cancelled we will refund you the cost of the ticket less the booking fee. Events may be cancelled where a Met Eireann orange or red weather warning is in place, or in other unavoidable circumstances.
- If an event is sold out and we resell your ticket, we will refund you the cost less the booking fee and 20% administration fee. The deadline for notifying us of your wish to resell your tickets is Wednesday 28th October.
- Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. Brigit’s Garden will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission in order to ensure the security, safety and comfort of all guests.
- Dogs are not permitted at special events.
